Cigar Chip Box

I have been looking for neat ways to store my chip collection. Ideas for displaying the chips in glass, or in a carousel, or a nice wooden box, or a rack like casinos. I have them in a plastic carousel, but don't think I like carousels.

I went to a local cigar shop, and got an "Arturo Fuente" cigar box. The cigar shops I've heard of sell their wooden boxes for about $4 US (less for cardboard). This box was nice due to it's approx 2 1/4 inch height. It should hold some kind of rack below the chips and maybe some foam above. The chips are 39mm, which leaves about 3/4 vertical inches.
The chips easily fit perfectly my dividers. The height is good, and the width is perfect for 3 rows, which is a MUCH better fit than I expected. Capacity: 150 chips.
The dividers are really just pieces of molding I got from the local home improvement store. I got an 8 foot length of "L" shaped molding which measured about 1 1/16 inches by 1 1/16 inches, and cut 6 lengths to fit the box. Maybe I'll secure to the box, and cover them with single sided adhesive felt.
I slowly, but surely, filled up the box above. I got another (bigger) cigar box, and made a holder with a larger capacity!
There were no tricks to the right components to build this box. I used some thin flat pieces of wood which were loose inside the box. I cut them to excatly to fit where I wanted, and epoxied them in place. Capacity: 336 chips, 5 dice, 2 card decks.
This is a closeup showing the wood strips cut to fit and glued in place. With some creative thinking, and precision cutting/sanding, I ended up with a neat corner for chips/dice/cards.
